Our Father

Our Father

Our FATHER there is startling difference between earthly fathers and our heavenly FATHER, our sovereign LORD when you think about the man you call father, what comes to your mind? how do you truly see him? what is your perception of him? does he elongate and fit into your perspective of a father? what he does and says, do they answer and meet your needs? does he deliver your expectation of what a father should be? do you imagine him to be like play-doh, and do you try to shape and model him to your will and desires earthly fathers are full of flaws, no matter how perfect, they come with ‘warts and all’, they ‘cannot always cut the mustard’ and if you are male and hope one day to be a father and you are looking at your own father, and seeing his shortcomings; store those thoughts and when your day of fatherhood arrives judge yourself on how you measure up to your father. right now in each twenty-four hours, if your father is on point with achieving what he said; secretly or openly pat him on the back, give a hug or offer a handshake, take-away and store-up every golden moment, make them into memories to fall back on for the day you become a father being a FATHER begins with the readiness and willingness to plan ahead, put everything into place before 'the recreating of your image' your ‘bundle of joy’ arrives. Genesis 1 demonstrates a perfect, flawless nursery called the garden of Eden. there GOD made sure every need was met. all of nature was adequate and with clear instructions to follow, were satisfactory to and for our needs and protection. the ‘our FATHER prayer’ shows that the love of GOD carefully assess, weigh up every eventuality and bring and give from the SOURCE what has been reserved for any happenings.
